So as I am not going to be here for a few weeks, I thought I shall leave a RAK post. Now Im doing this for a few reasons...... 1. it's my birthday soon and I love to give presents on my birthday, 2. Im coming up to having 10 thousand visitors to my blog which is so amazing. I love that. and 3. it wll give you all something to do on my blog while I am away.
So here's the deal....... you need to leave me a post, tell me the last time you were truly surprised.
You have until the 9th Sept to leave your post, and I shall draw a winner on the 10th Sept.
What do you get....... well I have made up a very large box full of all kinds of crafty stuff. I would post a pic, but someone left her camera at a friends last weekend, and I still haven't been able to pick it up. But trust me it will be worth the post. Any one can enter, no matter where in the world you live.
So that's it for now, create, have fun, and leave me post while I am gone, and see you all on the 10th Sept!

Hi Mel,
The one time I have been truly surprised was 3 years ago sitting at my desk at work. I was mindlessly scratching off a Dance Fever scratchie. Well I stared at it a few times and then turned to my boss and said I think I just won $65,000! I can honestly say it changed my life as I was able to use the money for a deposit on my own house and have not looked back. I still buy scratchies. you just never know....
Hi Mel,
The last time I was truly surprised was last Thursday. We were on our annual vacation in Margaret River and I had quickly popped into the Dome for my takeaway coffee for the car journey home again when in walked my 9 year old daughter with a smile on her face and my husband's credit card. You see, Friday was my birthday and next door to the Dome is my favourite landscape photographers' gallery and my birthday present from my 3 kids was any picture I liked (to the value of $100). What a lovely surprise that was!
Well, there are good surprises and bad surprises. The bad one was my 25 year old daughter informing me that she was going to drive from Perth to Melbourne over Christmas. You're what? Over my dead body! The good surprise? She's changed her mind. She realised that driving would take a big chunk out of her holiday time, so now she's flying and I can sleep at night. Love your layouts and Olive is the cutest cat ever and that's saying something from someone who isn't a cat person.
Wow almost 10000 visits is very cool!!
Hrmm, my last TRUE surprise...probably 7 years ago when my husband proposed..I was TOTALLY in the dark!!!
hope you're having a great time away on your lil family holiday chickie :)
My last TRUE surprise was that ALL of my friends and family travelled 3 hours last month to come to my birthday party - doesnt sound like much, but i have a friend who has not been out without her kids since she had them, so that was a pretty special treat for me :D
Just having them there and making the effort was pretty special!

Oh Well....
I was truley Surprised when Shannon said yes to signing us for our tattoos.... I was truley surprised that Michael tells me he loves me without me having to say it first LOL - Not cool for a 16 year old to love his mum! - but Most of all I am Truely surprised by the loving friendships we form over our lives without realizing it! Hope you are having a great time honey

Last weekend when my husband told me I should go to Melbourne for the long weekend to catch up with my cousin and, more importantly, have a shopping holiday!
