Ok, here goes...7 Random facts about me!

1. I have no sense of smell.... kinda just went away about the age of 5.

2. I love toe socks, When I see them, I still buy a few pairs.

3. I had lived in 27 houses by the time I was 25 years old.

4. I was a state gymnast until I was 17 and got to tall and also too top heavy to compete.

5. I love eggs!!!! any way they come, I could eat eggs for every meal. I am being serious. My    partner has to ration the eggs out around our house!!!

6. I secretly wanted to be a race car driver my whole life. Im a bit of a petrol head from way          back!

7. I snore a bit , some times, although I don't believe it, I have never heard it!!! hehe.

A New Freshness.....

I have been missing for a little while now I know, but I am back. I have to say I have really been suffering with a creative downward spiral. I think at times we all fall into the trap of thinking our work is not good enough, or why do we do it, should I spend so much time on it, I should really clean my bathroom instead of creating today. Well No more!!!! I will not feel guilty for one second for wanting to spend time doing something I love, that makes me happy, that fills my heart with warm tingly feelings, I will create!

I have been doing an art journal course now for a few weeks with Vivian Bonder and I have to say, I am having so much fun, I had forgotten how good it felt to "play" if you will. In appreciation of this playfulness, I have been doing a fair bit of web surfing looking at other peoples journals, and I came across this today on A girl and her journal. Even the music just makes me want to go play right now!

In fact I will, have fun, play hard and go forth and create!!!

Calender Challenge.....

So I am taking part in a calender challenge at Scrapworld. The idea is to do a month in review, and to have an actual calender page on your layout somewhere. So My first three months  are done, and finished. Im actually loving it, makes you really take notice of what you do from day to day, not just the big stuff, you know. I have to say, I am really bad at writing the stuff down, so sit and really ponder on what I had done over the month, but being organised an writing it on my calender as I go is just so not me. I love a little kaos in my life!!!

Easter Layout.......

So here is my latest Layout, using the April Challenge pack. I snapped this pic of myself and my gorgeous Grandmother at our family Easter picnic. She is so adorable, just love her to bits. I'm glad I got this picture, I have found it very hard in the past to get a great picture of young Eileen, as she is a bit camera shy. Also on this Layout I had the great honour of being able to use some of the new chipboard collections items that are being released this week. Little love birds, and the gorgeous bluebird/swallow shape. Let me tell you ladies, they are to die for, and just go on and with everything. I say get into the, they are simply stunning.

The "foot" photo.......

So this is the foot photo from last weeks challenge that didn't make the cut. I took a picture of the feet of all the girls in my kids class last tuesday, and I am sure they would all like to see it up in lights, so as promised guys, here it is. As apart of the Photo Challenge blog I am apart of, I have decided to post any pics I didn't use or one's I captured after the topic closed here on my blog. I am finding, as I am wandering around for a week looking for moment that fit our topic, sometimes it really isn't till it's too late that I find the best pictures.
