Calender Challenge.....

So I am taking part in a calender challenge at Scrapworld. The idea is to do a month in review, and to have an actual calender page on your layout somewhere. So My first three months  are done, and finished. Im actually loving it, makes you really take notice of what you do from day to day, not just the big stuff, you know. I have to say, I am really bad at writing the stuff down, so sit and really ponder on what I had done over the month, but being organised an writing it on my calender as I go is just so not me. I love a little kaos in my life!!!

Easter Layout.......

So here is my latest Layout, using the April Challenge pack. I snapped this pic of myself and my gorgeous Grandmother at our family Easter picnic. She is so adorable, just love her to bits. I'm glad I got this picture, I have found it very hard in the past to get a great picture of young Eileen, as she is a bit camera shy. Also on this Layout I had the great honour of being able to use some of the new chipboard collections items that are being released this week. Little love birds, and the gorgeous bluebird/swallow shape. Let me tell you ladies, they are to die for, and just go on and with everything. I say get into the, they are simply stunning.

More "Wood" pics..........

As apart of the Photo Challenge blog I am apart of, I have decided to post any pics I didn't use or one's I captured after the topic closed here on my blog. I am finding, as I am wandering around for a week looking for moment that fit our topic, sometimes it really isn't till it's too late that I find the best pictures. This was absolutely the case with the wood topic. I was completely stumped (hehe) until I captured these shots a few days after it closed. Take a look see what you think?

Nichole and Martin's Wedding...........

So my very good friend Nichole and her man Martin finally tied the knot last weekend. The wedding it self was held literally on the small jetty in Busselton, and it was so beautiful.  Having the ceremony with all their family and friend on the jetty with them was amazing, with wind in our hair and the ocean lapping under our feet, it was totally sensational. The reception was held at the Goose, which was just about 100 mtrs from the small jetty, so we watched the sun go down and had the ocean and the breeze all evening. I think this was the best wedding I have been to, so casual, there was no speeches, no sad DJ, just excellent wine and great food and great people.

I had not realised how much I missed Nichole until I had seen her on the weekend. Nichole and I met at Uni while we were doing our Visual Arts Degree's and spent every week day together really for a good 4-5 years. some days were upward of 10 hours, so that is a lot of time spent together. It must be about 2-3 years now since Nichole and her family have moved to the country and I really miss her. I can't believe how big her kids are now, it really does go fast doesn't it? Well anyway, it was a fabulous wedding, and they are truly a beautiful couple, I am so glad I was able to be apart of it.

Love you Nichole!!!
