Hip Hop, and don't stop........

Hi Everyone, thanks for stopping by my blog..... the last hop on toady's fun. Firstly i would like to welcome you all, have a look around, i'll be be hanging out on the Twiddleybitz Ning if you want to chat. I'm so excited as this is my very very first Blog Hop. I was definitely at the movies the day the memo came around about this kinda fun, but here we are.

Now I don't know about you, but I have had both sizes in the twiddleybitz Winged Heart Shadow box in my stash for little while and have wanted to do something with them really really badly. So I took this opportunity to do so. Now the first thing you will notice is that they no longer have their wings. I wanted to drop these into a canvas ( a technique shown to me by the wonderful Mel Forbes) and the wings just didn't look right, so i took to them with my Stanley knife and cut them off

I added lots of Twiddleybits leaves and fern which are just divine to work with, a bit of bling, and some cute little flowers. Photos of my little family into the shadow boxes, connected them with some chain and added the mandatory ribbon and bow.
For anyone who knows me, I love a good bit of ribbon and I usually tie a big bow in it. heheh

Don't forget ladies to leave a comment and tell me what you thing about my little creation. If you leave a comment, you will go in to a little draw to receive a bunch of Twiddleybitz goodies from me.

Next up on the Twiddleybitz blog hop will be Tracy Wyldman at 10 am tomorrow morning (eastern Standard Time). Don't forget to come back and see what the rest of the Twiddleybitz team has in store for you tomorrow.

Thanks for visiting,

Mel

So creative! I like the concept of the "fur babies" in the smaller canvas. If you ever get a new addition you can just add one more canvas! I've never seen the winged heart shadowbox in real life- but now I want to find one!

Oh wow!! that grame is simply gorgeous Mel!! ....thanks so much for stopping by my blog....you asked how I did the coloring on my butterfly chippie? Yep, it's only done with chalk ink. No need for copic markers. I just brushed the chalk ink (colorbox) along the edges and it kinda just fades out like that. I did use two colors though. Hope this helps? Have a great week!
